Ribbon Cutting Celebration for the Gould Canal Trail

A historic neighborhood in Clovis has something to celebrate – a newly improved trail, made possible by grant funding and a partnership between the City of Clovis and the Fresno Irrigation District (FID)!
The Gould Canal Trail runs through the historic Helm Ranch area in southwest Clovis alongside the FID Gould Canal and has recently undergone a transformation to add several pedestrian-friendly features that enhance the trail’s accessibility, safety, and beauty.
To mark the occasion, the city is inviting community members to attend a Ribbon Cutting Celebration Saturday, October 5 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Helm Ranch Park, located at 91 W. Ashlan Ave. – the site of an eye-catching new trail gateway. The event will begin with a special ribbon cutting program followed by a community celebration featuring light refreshments, and of course, an opportunity to explore the trail!
