Let’s Talk Clovis

“Let’s Talk Clovis” is a series of monthly historic “talks,” told by the people who were there. They’re first-hand accounts of events, and details that shaped the Clovis Way of Life. This event is held at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District in the Freedom Room.

This month features Jim & Carole Linenbach, 2024 Clovis Rodeo Parde Grand Marshals. Fittingly, they will be joined by former Grand Marshals as they tell the tales that come with this prestigious 110-year-old honor.

Snacks and beverages will be provided at this free event.

Did you know, Ken Curtis, the American actor and singer best known for his role as Festus Haggen on the western television series Gunsmoke, as well as Victor McLaglen, the British-American Academy Award winning actor best known for his supporting roles in the films The Informer, and The Quiet Man both served as the Grand Marshal for this annual event.
