Compost Give-Away for Clovis Residents

If your springtime plans include some gardening projects, don’t miss Clovis’s annual compost giveaway! On Saturday, March 2, Clovis residents can collect up to 3 cubic yards of free compost between 7 AM to 1 PM (or while supplies last).

The giveaway will take place at 810 Nees Avenue, Clovis, CA 93611. You will need to bring your own container to hold the compost, but loading assistance will be available if needed. Event tickets are mailed out to residents in their utility bills. If you have not received your compost ticket, please contact Kristian Flores at (559) 231-1826 by March 1.

Did You Know? This annual compost event is made possible by your green Organics cart! Organic material is collected throughout the year from your local neighborhoods, is processed into compost by a nearby facility, and returned to you for your soil enrichment needs.
