California Adopt-A-Pet Day
June 1 @ 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
This Saturday is the first-ever California Adopt-a-Pet Day which is organized by CalAnimals, the ASPCA, and San Francisco SPCA to raise awareness and make pet adoptions more affordable. This Saturday only your adoption fee will be paid for by the ASPCA, in partnership with CalAnimals. Which means you can adopt any pet from The Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center for free!
Miss Winkles is also opening early this Saturday at 11AM so you have more time to meet your new best friend and fill your home with love from a shelter pet! Featured here is Rocklin, a 5 year old Brown Tabby Domestic Shorthair who is deaf! She’s as sweet as can be and will make you chuckle when she roars a meow because she doesn’t realize how loud she is! You can adopt her for free this Saturday!
All of the pets are already spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. And when you adopt, your pet will go home with a collar, engraved ID tag, and a free vet visit! Applications are accepted in-person only on a first-come, first-served basis.
